Happy Birthday TCTMJ!

Ok, so the is really a blog about my cycling awesomness; but without TCTMJ I wouldn't have as  much fun cycling (and I would be even more intolerable to the people around me).  April 10th was is bday.  Yay!
We went riding, properly, and then went riding cowboy style.  I rode a lot as a kid but haven't been on a horse in well over 10 years and TCTMJ has ridden maybe 5 times in his life.   TCTMJ had mentioned a little while ago that it must be fun to ride a horse, so horse-back riding we went.  A couple of observations:
1) We should have kept our chammois on.  First, because, well obviously, chammois time is training time.  Second, and more importantly, our butts were killing us.
2) Going up hill is much easier when you don't have to pedal.
3) Carbon fiber is way more predictable than 1500 pounds of pooping, peeing, eating, foot-biting horse.
Those of you that have seen TCTMJ in action know that he really puts up with a lot and he does it with if not grace then good-natured sarcasm.  Yes, I tried to tone down my antics  yesterday.  It looks like he had fun.
